A tongue in chic peek: Farmers Spring/Summer 2014

A tongue in chic peek: Farmers Spring/Summer 2014

Aside from blogging, I also work full time in professional services where I am practising employment law. So, I work in an office setting where I meet clients, attend mediations and hearings. We all want to look good while we are working to give us that extra edge and motivation. I love feeling stylish while I work because I feel amazing and even more confident.

So, it is fitting that I was recently invited to view Farmers Spring/Summer 2014 collection at Thievery Studio. Farmers showcased ready-to-wear brands  which fit key trends in to everyday ensembles and create gorgeous looks for this change of season. I also adore the floral and lace lingerie.

The different ranges have something to suit every woman on any given day and environment.

Styles to work for

Stella @ Work and Oliver Black encompass on-trend wardrobe essentials combining tailored suiting and feminine separates in palettes of monochrome and citrus. The brands perfectly complement a corporate environment.

 From catwalk to sidewalk

Farmers three contemporary brands Sabine, Vamp and Principals look to the catwalk for inspiration this season and translate these into wearable styles that will see you in effortless style no matter what the occasion.

 Off-duty days

For effortless chic, No Issue breathes new life in to off-duty days. Soft pastels and daisy prints are paired with denim bottoms for a laid back New York vibe.

 Modern silhouettes

Whistle perfects the fine art of modern dressing with a range of silhouettes to suit all occasions. The colour palette sets the tone of the season with a hint of coral, lime and bold floral prints.

 We’re going to Miami

Miami is the inspired destination for the latest line-up from Urban Precinct. With a combination of bold colour blocking and graphic prints, the collection embodies the warmer weather with floral motifs and vibrant hues.

The move from minimal

Farmers’ plus-size range delivers key fashion styles designed specifically to flatter the fuller figure. The Estelle woman inspires retro-chic with glamorous draping in vibrant orange hues while both Wild Child’s City and Urban brands embrace the new season with floral prints and monochrome stripes.

 Haute sports and swim

There is something motivating about good sportswear; almost as if putting it on will inspire action.Superfit’s active and leisure wear provides a variety of fits for all body types. And when it’s time to don swimwear, Farmers’ Swimshop brands – Zest Resort, Nancy Ganz and Expozay – provide the ultimate support with flattering fabrics and fits.

 Sports luxe

Designed with the weekend wardrobe in mind, Zest Weekend infuses sports luxe with feminine styling. Essentials include soft fabric joggers, athletic scoop-neck tops and print tunics for the ultimate fusion of fashion and function.

 The eclectic lady

Stella and Izabel London both look to nipped-waist styles for a relaxed yet refined take on dressing up. Stella presents bold colour clashing and lace playsuits while Izabel London focuses on a range of eclectic separates in chic silhouettes.
