This season ARTDECO continues their ongoing commitment to fashion and beauty with a gorgeous collaboration with designer Emilio de la Morena.
Founded in 2005, Emilio de la Morena’s vision is to create fashion that flatters every woman and highlights the elegance of the female form. In Emilio’s latest collection, he is influenced by the simple geometric shapes of the Bauhaus design era, in which he has based the motif on the ARTDECO limited edition Beauty Box and Blush. The ARTDECO limited edition cases never disappoint and we are loving it!
Influenced by his latest designs, the new ARTDECO fashion colours 2015 Emilio de la Morena collection entices with delicate rose, subtle apricot, vibrant pink and pastel mint shades; a welcome diversion from the traditional makeup palette this time of year.
My favourite from the collection is the limited edition Blush Couture ‘creative expression’ (RRP $32) which combines three soft pastel colours in a light texture to give a soft, natural finish. The blush is mineral oil free, paraben free and fragrance free. This is what I have been using for my daytime look this week. It complements so well with this current season.
The silky Mono Eyeshadows (RRP $9) come in four radiant shades; No.60 ‘pearly milky mint’, No.81 ‘pearly lilac’, No.95A ‘pearly soft pink’ and in No. 109 ‘pearly snowdrop’. Personally, I feel that I don’t suit pastel shades on my eyeshadows well but I quite like the shade in pearly snowdrop.
The limited edition Beauty Box Quattro is available free at Farmers when you purchase four eyeshadows. What a steal at $9 per eyeshadow! The ArtDeco Volume Supreme Mascara (RRP $28) provides curve and volume to the lashes. The flexible kaleidoscope brush separates lashes and fans them out.
The Art Couture Lipstick (RRP$32) gives a perfectly maintained and sensual finish. Natural extract of hops nourishes delicate skin and keeps it smooth. This collection wows wearers with No.268 ‘cream soft pink’, a vibrant pink and in No.290 ‘cream pink water lilly’, a delicate apricot. I wear it in shade No. 290; love how natural it looks on my lips; ‘my lips but better’. I love how the ArtDeco logo is imprinted in the lipstick.
The Art Couture Nail Lacquer (RRP$19) thanks to patented ingredients; the high pigment content ensures rich colours with high opacity. The gel-based film formers provide a short drying time. Nourishing active ingredients such as amino-peptides, panthenol, vitamins A, C and E and phycocorail and a moisturizing algae extract improve the nail structure.
The Emilio de la Morena looks is completed with No.605 ‘couture snowdrop’, a pure white, No.623 ‘couture rose bloom’, a delicate pink, No.629 ‘couture begonia bloom, a light apricot, and No. 830 ‘couture milky mint’, a subtle mint. Also in the collection are No. 720 ‘couture pink water lilly’, a vibrant pink, and with No.860 ‘couture summer lilac’, a bright blue-purple. I have the ‘couture snowdrop’; I don’t usually wear that shade alone, I tend to mix it with other shades which gives my nails a pastel and softer effect.
The collection also includes Liner, Perfect Colour Lipsticks, and Lip Brilliance Lip Gloss. So, make sure you check out the collection when it comes out at the end of the month here in New Zealand. The ARTDECO Fashion Colors 2015 Emilio de la Morena collection is available exclusively at Farmers from 30th June 2015.
