For some time, I’ve been swearing by Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream and Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner. It’s the few products that work well on my skin and doesn’t irritate it in any way, at all. Each year, in honour of the Holiday season, Kiehl’s works with a different artist to design a special limited-edition collection. So, I squealed with excitement when this lovely Kiehl’s delivery arrived at my place. With the upcoming holiday season, Kiehl’s ushers in the holiday season with a limited-edition collection by Pop art icon Peter Max; one of the world’s most celebrated living artists. His bold use of color and whimsical imagery is what initially captivated and continues to inspire art aficionados and collectors today. Inspired by the art legend’s acclaimed work The Cosmic Runner, this season’s limited-edition packaging will impart smiles and a spirit of celebration amongst Kiehl’s lovers globally.
I’ve been using the Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner and Ultra Facial Cream regularly for some time now, and the limited edition version is now looking somewhat fun, happy and colorful on my dressing table; which I love. I swear by the Ultra Facial Cream ($54) which is a light-textured daily hydrator and I use it as it plumps my skin with moisture which my face usually needs first thing in the morning. I am taking it with me on my Sydney trip especially as it is an early morning flight. I love the Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner ($69) which is a Kiehl’s bestseller for almost 50 years. These days, I prefer a gentle, alcohol-free toner so this is the holy grail toner for me. It contains Calendula derived from the Marigold flower, nourishing panthenol and herbal extracts such as Lavender, Ivy, Great Burdock and Allantoin which means my skin feels smooth, fresh and invigorated each morning.
This would be a beautiful gift for your loved ones who indulge in luxe skincare. Kiehl’s is available from the flagship boutique in Britomart, Smith and Caughey’s, Ballantynes and Kirkcaldie & Stains. Have a lovely week ahead and stay tuned on more Christmas gift ideas I have collated for 2015.
