The Napoleon Perdis brand is luxury personified. I have always loved the way their products are packaged; elegant and chic. I recently reviewed three of their new releases and have fallen in love with Napoleon Perdis products all over again.
I love the Silk Road Lip Rouge, there are three new shades in this collection Pink Empress (Pink), Gold Brocade (nude) and Peach Sari (coral). As you can tell from the names, Napoleon Perdis Silk Road Lip Rouge was inspired by the Art of Asian Lacquerware Techniques. As cliche as this sounds, I would have to say this is the best nude shade I have ever reviewed, so good that I love it more than my previously favorite Nude shade from L’Oreal called Ballet Slippers.
It’s a beautiful shade of nude and highly pigmented lip polish, exactly what I have been searching for. I love the colour and I love the gorgeous shine it gives to my lips.
Unlike other lip polishes, the Silk Road Lip Rouge is not sticky (thank God!) as I cannot stand sticky lip polishes. Paraben free and myrrh’s natural healing properties offer high-comfort moisture to maintain soft and supple lips, so I know that my lips are well taken care of. You can get yours now from all Napoleon Perdis counters (RRP $36).
The second new release product from Napoleon Perdis which I reviewed was the Super Lips. Available in three shades Glory (nude), Bionic (red) and Destiny (berry); I reviewed the Berry shade Destiny. I am obsessed with this shade, although it is more of a night-time lippy, I wear it day and night because let’s face it, we don’t really follow rules.
It is intensely pigmented and a matte formula however what I love about Super Lips lippy is that it is moisturising; unlike other matte formula lippies. I feel gorgeous and glamorous wearing it. Finely ground mineral pigments release a light protective film and Vitamin E helps lock moisture into lips to keep them looking plump and fresh. You can get yours at Napoleon Perdis counters (RRP $42); I would recommend Super Lips, you get a bang for your buck.
Lastly, I reviewed Napoleon Perdis Camera Finish Close-Up Complexion Perfecting Powder which is currently my favourite powder. Quite a mouthful, but all the more amazing.
A femme fatale uses her allure as a weapon and never explains her motivations. Enhance your mystique with Camera Finish Close-Up Complexion Perfecting Powder and keep them all in the dark.
Every girl needs this in her handbag. In one description, it is a skin polisher giving your skin the sheer effect and a long-wearing blur action. Dust this setting powder over your foundation for that perfect touch. You can also brush it on your lips or to softly fuse and blend your eyeshadow. I keep it in my handbag and dust on some powder as and when needed. With this powder, a little goes a long way, you don’t need much, just a light dust especially in the T-Zone area, and it works wonders. You can get yours at all Napoleon Perdis counters at Farmers (RRP $62).
