On 29th July, I was invited to The Warehouse Spring/Summer Collection preview at Mildred & Co Showroom.
We were welcomed by these beautiful pots of flowers, how appropriate!
There were various collections from different brands on show from Garage (something for the younger women) to Maya (for the older, professional women) to Active Intent (as the name reveals; for the active women) to footwear to jewellery and women’s accessories. The collection features a range of pieces with pops of color, floral prints (daisies included!), lace and it was inspired by worldwide trends especially from the buyer’s recent trips to the United Kingdom.
The Daisy Chain trend sees daisies sprinkled on the must have maxi-skirt, easy-wear skater dress and even on the fabulous $12 cardigan. Very affordable and a wardrobe staple for the upcoming season. Palm trees, florals, animal prints and easy stripes also make an appearance.
Here are some highlights from today:
I love this bag, love the play on pastels with polka dots and florals. It’s certainly cute without looking too busy.
How cute are these bags?
I love the creativity here. Jewellery on ice. So beautiful! Rose gold is prominent in the collection, as with white gold, and sterling silver.
New collections of rose gold featuring touches of white enamel and filigree designs are priced from $40.
The animal range has expanded into stainless steel with new owl designs priced from $50.
Layering bangles and stacking in muti colors is a big trend, priced from $30 and the key look in diamonds is the diamond halo surrounding the centre stone.
I love the diamond cross earrings
Spring makeup from Maybelline. Lots of color which I love especially the hot pinks and deep plums.
Maybelline New York launches its first long wear nail color. Super Stay 7 Days ($14.99) is a gel nail color that delivers seven days of chip free color.
Color Elixir ($19.99) lip gloss gives the comfort of a balm and color of a lipstick.
Presentation of Key Pieces:
I love the versatility of this new collection, it’s fun, girly and cheerful.
